There are 180,000 homeless women in Los Angeles County. Most of them are abused and broken after only one month of living on the streets. Many never recover and are often forgotten by society.
Currently there are three times as many animal shelters in Los Angeles County as there are shelters for homeless women. Until our economy improves, our homeless population is expected to grow. The need for this shelter is great.
Doors of Hope will provide homeless women with:
Temporary shelter
Daily meals and showers
Clean clothing
Counseling and Spiritual guidance
Help us build a safe and loving environment for these women.
