Guiding Homeless Men Toward a New Path in Life
Every day, the crisis of homelessness for men in the South Bay area grows more and more urgent.
There are over 75,000 people in Los Angeles County experiencing homelessness right now, and the number continues to grow. Men find themselves on the streets looking for a place to eat a warm meal, a fresh shower, and a place to lay their heads.
Through The Way for Men, Beacon Light Mission’s men’s homeless shelter, we not only provide immediate needs but we also offer life-transforming resources. Men facing homelessness come through our doors to find the love of Jesus, an opportunity for spiritual growth, and a path to get off the streets permanently.
Through our men’s shelter, we meet physical needs by providing:
A Safe Place for Sleep
We have 23 beds for men. If you need a bed, please call (310)-830-7063 to check availability. You may also come to the front door between 10:00 AM-1:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Warm Meals
We offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner daily.
Day Rooms
Men living on the streets can visit our day room from 1:00 PM-6:45 PM, every day.
Clean Showers
Every Monday and Thursday, we host shower days. If you are in need of a shower, be here at 8:30 AM to reserve your spot. We will provide a fresh set of clothing and hygiene items as well as a warm breakfast and cold lunch-to-go.

For many men experiencing homelessness, they are struggling with trauma, addiction, and mental illness. At Beacon Light, we help counsel men towards a new path of success.

If you need a bed, call to check on availability at 310-830-7063, or come to the front door between 10 AM and 1 PM, Monday through Friday. The day room hours are 1 PM to 6:45 PM, seven days a week.
Shower days are Mondays and Thursdays. Be here at 8:30 AM to reserve your spot. A fresh set of clothing and hygiene items are included. Breakfast and a cold lunch-to-go will also be provided.
At 6:45 PM, all guests attend our chapel service.
